Things i have learn (quoted from the movie)
- though Mitch forgot the promise he made to Morrie, Morrie still remember and forgive him.. he welcome Mitch with a hug..
- silent.. Why people feel not comfortable of silent??
- Morrie said that he was a lucky man to have somone to wipe his ass... because it means he has someone who loves and cares for him..
- when you know how to die, you know how to live
- we must love one another or you die
- aging is not a decay of body but growth
- how do Morrie deal with his sadness of this disease? every morning, he grief, he mourns then he detached from it.he said it is enough for today. he don't allow himself to dwell with it any longer.
- we need to learn to give love to others in the same time receiving love from others.
- always imagine there is bird on your shoulder. and ask him each day : am i ready? am i living? am i the person i want to be?
- life pulling it back and forth like a rubber band but love always win
- love is the only rasional act
- he told of a story that the small wave are scared for he is going to crush to the rock. the big wave answered why scare? you're not a wave, you are part of the ocean.(something like that):P
- dependency. there is nothing to be shamful of being dependent
- while we are infants and we are almost dying, we need others to survive.. but in the between of it, we need others even more.
- forgive everybody and everything.. ( there is no time to hold grudges since life is short)
- death ends a life, not a relationship
- there if 2 things we tried to avoid - touching and crying.. (these both are essential in our life.. we need people's touch and learn to cry)
