the sheep recognize the shepherd's voice

that day, someone told me this. the sheep recognizes the shepherd's voice. i was like.. en.. i know this. heard it many times dy.. but wat amazing is this, which makes my perspective to this phrase will never be the same again.

here im with my elder sister in car. she needs some direction so we decided to call. because she is driving so i use her phone to call. firstly, i call brother...

melia : mel, where are you?
melvin: im now at leisure mall waiting bus
melia : oh.. meaning u are not at home? i need you to help me check something act
melvin: oh.. i cant help

what is so different of this conversation?? nothing.. but do notice.. i din tell him who im.. since im using my sister phone, so i thot he will assume me as sis..
but after 3 mins, he call again

melvin: jie, what time you're back?
melia : around 4plus gua.. y?
melvin: Jie, why you will be with mandy jie??
melia : ?!! how come you know?!!!!!!
melvin: of cuz i know la..

aiya.. how come de le?? others people always mistake me and my sis voice de lo...ok.. nvm.. then i helped sis to called dad...notice.. i use sis phone.. and din tell dad who im...

melia: dad, do you know where got CIMB in Pudu?
dad : why?

melia: cuz i need to bank in my pay slip and to check my account (notice.. this is helping my sister to ask de... she got pay slip and i dun have)hehe.. and i use i as if im sister who called...

dad : o.. im not sure o..
melia: then is ok la.. ( i thought dad dunno im melia)
dad: have you bought finish your things??
melia: huh??(o... believe me, my mouth is really wide open by then because i told dad im going out to buy things before this.. how can he knows is me le???) i replied.. o.. i bought finish dy..

o... my sister is laughing besides me.. she said i tried 2 times also failed.. at the end, she said.. you think our daddy dunno your voice and my voice meh..

then i think... haha.. how foolish im in thinking i can pretend in front of my dad.. my dad knows us inside out le..

put it into the context of God.. God our shepherd, HE definately knows and recognizes our voices.. i believe when we pray together (like 20 ppl) he knows each and every of our voices.. but the questions throw back to us.. can u recognize God's voice?? i believe if we spend most time with our frens or our loved ones, you can identify each voice.. then, are you spending enough time with God that you can identify His voice??do you know your shepherd's voice???
