grandma, wonder woman

recently i just went to pay a visit to my maternal grandma.. ever since i was a small gal, my grandma took care of us.. she will comes in the morning to my house to take care four of us and also my cousins.. she alone taking care of 10 of us..it has been more than 10 years she took care of us.. from changing diaper for us till we grow up become a youth now.. she watched our growing process.. she cooks for us.. she do the house chores for example cleaning and washing.. even she is in her 60s almost 70s, she walks to the pasar every morning to buy the ingredients to cook.. she is a woman of wonder..i really salute her from the bottom of my heart.. she raised all her 9 children with her bare hands.. when her children grow up, she has to take care of her grandchildren again.. yet she does it out of love and not one complain from her mouth.. however, after i have shifted, she is now taking care of my youngest aunt's daughter who is only 6 months old..and i hardly see her dy.. i bet she must be very sad.. i really miss her.. miss her cooking.. in her absents now, only i realise how foolish i am when i was small that i din treasure her that much, din know that i was actually so blessed to have her in my life.. with her, we have no worries about everything in house.. everything will fall into the place and in good condition..though now i din stay with her, but po po.. i just want to thank you for taking care of me through my childhood life.. u love me, u show urself as a good model and u always give without asking for repay, u always so considerate to us, u respects us... i really thankful and i just wanna say i love u...
that day visiting her bring great joy to my heart.. can see from her face, how happy she is to see me..she quickly ask me to stay and eat the dinner there... o.. how i miss her cooking...spending time talking with her, let her know our updates.. she must be so happy.. i promise her i will come as often as i can to visit her...

after STPM, wat most of the STPM students do is that we find a job.. to earn some money, gain working experience and also doing something with ur free time while waiting for the uni letter.. for me, i chose to work as a primary school teacher, teaching in PJ, BM, kajian tempatan and seni... at first i thot it was easy, a lot of benefits.. as i heard from others.. Benefits are... we can influence the young generations, impart the values in them, children are adorable..the pay is quite reasonable. work half day.a lot of holidays esp school holiday. well, it sounds true.. but not when u really enter into this field..

after 4 months of working.. i feel tired and exhausted.. of cuz, there are somedays i feel that being a teacher is meaningful.. teacher can really infuence life..when u heard a student telling u that learning in your lesson is fun and she likes my lessons, i will feel so so so happy and feel that is worth it after all the hard works..
Nevertheless, the world is real.. there is 50 students in a class. u only have 1 hour to teach.. u have to rush for the lessons at the same time, u have to ensure the students understand it.. not forgetting that the children at this age, they like to walk around, like to disturb their frens, like to talk and etc.. within the one hour, u have to teach, settle their prob, correct them for the mistakes they do in the exercise books and ensure them passing the homework..is stress.. it is because im not experienced in handling so many children.. yes, teachers work only half day but do u know teacher have so many books to mark.. just take one tulisan book.. a class 50 books.. 2 classes,100 books..the next day, they are passing up buku aktivities, another 100 books.. if the teacher have to mark essay, a class 50 essays to mark!!! almost everyday i have to stay back till 4pm or later just to finish marking..if u teach the wrong thing, it will influence the kids for life.. so, teacher have to prepare for the lessons before hand.. still got ko-kurrikulum have to handle,a lot of paper work...if the student in trouble, u have to take care...
if u are a married teacher.. not only u have to do the above thing.. u have to also take k of ur family members.. once u reach home, u have to cook, then do the house chores.. then have to teach ur children to study.. after all this will be 10pm dy.. then only u have ur own personal time..

a lot of people said teacher is so easy.. maybe in one sense yes and maybe not.. dun be too judgemental in that.. this occupation requires not only physical strength but more on emotional strength..u have to really settle ur emotion daily..controling 50 students in class is not easy..next time u wanna say being a teacher is easy think twice.. if u think u can do as wat i coded above, then only u have the right to say so...teacher is a holy occupation and i really salute all the teacher esp the primary school teacher.. they have to handle both the work and the family..
to all my teachers in my life, thanks for teaching me patiently and really pour ur heart and love to care for me...i honor and respect u!!

im reborn!!!

today mark a significant day for my brother, melvin and my younger sister, manda.. today is the day they are reborn... today is their baptism day.. our whole family include melvin's god parents went to port dickson for this holy ceremony.. this morning we have dim sum together at connaught there.. i just feel so happy and enjoy today.. is been long time that my family never go our eat breakfast together and is been so long that we never go for a trip.. i really feel so blessed today.. we went to Methodist centre there. first we have normal sunday service then is baptism moment.. u know, both my parents, my elder sister and i baptised 10 years ago.. exactly 10 years ago.. i really by God's divine appointment..joy overflow my heart to know that my brother and sister dare to take this bold step to declare to the world that now they are God's children and JEsus is their Lord from now.. AMEN!! one more thing that i feel touched is that my mom rearrange her time and make it for this event.. thanks mom!! during the service, i just want to say a big thanks to Pastor Clarine for affirming four of us and our parents.. she told my parents that she is thankful to have four of us.. and if she can, she would want her children to be like us.. she said thanks for my parents for bringing up us in such good way.. indeed is an honour to 4 of us.. Pastor Clarine is also an encourager.. cring comfort and lift up ppl.. thanks.. i have a wonderful day today!!

Amazing LRT race 2008

today is the actual day for AMAZING LRT RACE 2008!! at 7am, my family and i already reached there..i'm the emcee for today's opening ceremony.. we have a simple yet grand ceremony.. we are honored and privilege to have Yang Berhormat Datuk Ong Tee Keat to officiate this ceremony for us. thanks to my mom that she can invite YB DAtuk Ong to come.. i would like to take this opportunity also to really thank my mom..she has done so many for my sake, like getting YB to officiate, asking sponsorship for LRT side, prepare the tables and chairs and the food..thanks mom..

ya, let me tell you wat happened today.. first, im an emcee for today.. im so nervous!!!!!!!!! heart pumping like 1000 per minutes. ok, that seems exaggerating.but truly, heart pump so fast.. being emcee in such a big event, with reporters all standing in front of me..(tomolo must buy all newspaper cuz got our news and photo inside le)

then after a big hoo haa for the opening ceremony, finally our LRT race started at 930am..we need to get to our team of two as we registered. my teamates and also my old friends, lee miin is my partner of today.first we are divided into 4 groups and play the entangle games. we are trying to untangle ourselves so that we can start the race first. my groups failed to do so, and so we have to wait till 10am. then take LRT to Hang Tuah but on the way stop by Maluri to count the things on the paper. like fire extinguisher, billboard and so on.. when we reach hang tuah LRT, we choose hot option that is to run up and down the stairs case for 2times. then i thought monorail is slower so i decided to run to Times Square. however after long time of running, both lee miin and i gets tired so we slow down. then they want us to buy the cheapest things in times square that is below RM1.00 or find the rare things that is a post card of a series of number. lee miin knew that 7th floor has the cheapest things so we straight went up to 7th floor, low and behold, the rare postcards was there. we were blessed so we start to go to the next station. next station, low yat, finding two missing shop name with a blur picture given. we try to find.. each floor, asking ppl around.. finally... we found.

then we have to go KLCC by taking monorail to Bukit Nanas then to Dang Wangi Putra.. oh.. it is so far and lee miin and i have been running till so tired dy..finally reach KLCC, we go to the signature food court, there we found the most expensive food and beverage, which is the chicken rice(whole chicken)-RM50.00 and berry banana-RM15.25.. next task is to go to the park look for them.is not easy to look for the crew in such a big park.. at last we found them then have to take pic with the selected post with strangers. next we have to go back to KLCC again to look for the missing alphabet in every shop name they given to us. we go to the directory board there search one by one, but there are still 2 names we cant find. so we decided to ask the lady in information counter. thanks to her kindness we found and we ran back to the park again. then they wan us to solve a code using the pool or park rules.. then we ran back to KLCC signature food court to identify the sound they recorded..wow.. it was so tired going in and out of KLCC..

finally the last station masjid jamek,burger king.. there we have the last station, match and win.. and we finished the race!!!there we have our lunch yeah.. my group, 23, is the 4th team to arrive..oh yeah, my group num is 23.. my lucky number.. but the game winner is based on the points collected while doing the challenge not so of the time..

at the end, the winner list is out.. number 3 goes to kar woen's team... number 2 goes to meng shen's team and the champion of Amazing LRT race 2008 goes to.... my team!! i was surprise.. indeed both of us are surprised, cant believe we won....i really thank you lee miin for pairing up with me, and really work hand in hand together through this race.. thanks lee miin, couldnt have do it without u.the first 3 winners are from MBS.. haha.. wat a coincident.. feel so happy....:) thanks for kar woen team, jian loong team, beatrice neo team, for taking the time and come joining this event.. i really appreciate it..today is a very tired day yet i really enjoy.. really...
